REALBristol is the gay-friendly guide to Bristol and is part of the Real City Network - a not-for-profit group of local city guides spread across the country and around the world with a daily audience of over 20,000 visitors. The aim is to provide accurate, up to date content and to provide an informative, entertaining guide to the city from a gay perspective.

In order to achieve this the site needs a local content editor who can keep an eye on what's on in the area and can update the site with new venue information, details of special events and occasional news items.

Whilst this is an unpaid post, profits from the sale of local advertising and business membership will be split with the local editor - so there's the opportunity to make a bit of cash too. The Real City Network team will provide all the help and support you need. The job shouldn't take you more than a couple of hours a week - although from experience we find that most editors enjoy it so much that they check in almost daily! Ideally you'll have your own DSLR camera and be a competent writer.

REALBristol would also love to hear from budding nightlife/scene photographers, journalists and columnists that can help bring the site to life. No previous experience necessary - although you'll need easy access to the internet to upload your work, obviously.
