Another fantastic night at Lippy - tonight's bizarre act was the completely uninhibited, anarchic Gobsausage. The crowd was transfixed with mouths agog as three topless women arrived on the stage (one painted gold, the other two with masking tape over their nipples) followed by a gimp complete with hood and chains.

According to the Gobsausage myspace page their music sounds like a puffin farting in a coal skuttle... or a sausage popping hot fat into your eyeball. I can't disagree with that. The one that I'm guessing was the lead singer spent most of the night screaming at top volume into the microphone, a bit of wrestling in pool of fake blood, they chucked beer at the audience, they screamed some more... they dragged an audience member onstage, stripped him to the waste and within seconds he was writhing around with them... the madness of Gobsausage is addictive. No exaggeration is necessary when reviewing this band.
