With REALBristol.net starting to take shape very nicely (though we do say so ourselves!) we treated ourselves to a night off and popped down to the Queenshilling to sample the Saturday night ambiance. Busy and brimming with lovelies, we found a friendly crowd who were more than willing to pose for a photo or two.

The Shilling pretty much guarantees you an evening of gay frivolity. Tonight we were made very welcome by the friendly, attentive bar staff and the dance floor proved the perfect antidote to a hard week at work!

The Queenshilling, or ‘Q/S’ as it’s affectionally known in these parts, has been an integral part of Bristol’s Gay scene for many years.
