Slippery Summer Sale...
review
Just when we thought we'd had enough of summer rain and singing songs about um-ber-ellas on the dancefloor... we found ourselves heading down to the Shilling we were faced with girls and guys with not many clothes and even a few comedy inflatables to boot!
The classic combination of DJ Daniel Stone's choice tunes, excessive amounts of foam and the continuation of the summer sale fuelled a rather slippery dancefloor into the small hours. As it was the culmination of Bristol Fringe Festival and Village Pride the Q /- attracted foam virgins and veterans alike, (some suspiciously well prepared in goggles and precious gadgets in waterproof bags!).
For £20, we enjoyed all-you-can-drink without worrying about the pennies for the rest of the night.
Soaking wet, wearing little else but the all-you-can-drink wristband, and with Bex always there to capture all of our
indiscretions... will we ever learn? I hope not!

The Queenshilling, or ‘Q/S’ as it’s affectionally known in these parts, has been an integral part of Bristol’s Gay scene for many years. Having recently benefited from a swanky refurbishment, the colour and style of the bustling bar area very much reflects the reputation the club upholds as the place to be out and be seen on the Bristol Gay scene.
