Don't Give Me Your White...
review
With frost starting to appear on the ground and Christmas looming it was especially fitting for the Queenshilling to hold its annual White Ball.
Spoken of as one of the big nights on the Shilling annual calendar, it certainly lived up to expectations. Snow underfoot, ambient candles in the bar with lashings of white from top to bottom... a winter wonderland was duly created.
Special guest PA came in the form of Alex Party. Shanie Cambell wowed the appreciative crowd with an impromptu a capella Christmas treat followed by their classic club hit, ‘Don’t Give Me Your Life’. We were taken back to our party days of the early 90’s and sang along accordingly - clearly loving it so much that she sang it twice!
We must say that Paul looked particularly fantastic tonight in his glamorous get up and commend the staff for making the place look utterly fab. May we also take this opportunity to wish REALBristol readers a happy Christmas and a wonderful 2008!

about Queenshilling
|
The Queenshilling, or ‘Q/S’ as it’s affectionally known in these parts, has been an integral part of Bristol’s Gay scene for many years. Having recently benefited from a swanky refurbishment, the colour and style of the bustling bar area very much reflects the reputation the club upholds as the place to be out and be seen on the Bristol Gay scene. The next Queenshilling date for your diary:
Saturday, 5th July
