PUSH style celebrations...
review
Hearing that Flamingos was celebrating its first birthday and that the legendary Seamus Haji of ‘Last Night A DJ Saved My Life’ fame would be gracing the PUSH shaped decks, we couldn’t resist stopping by to join the party.
Flamingos has come a long way since its dubious false start... open then shut, and open again for good. But it seems like it was worth the wait, with a range of nights to cater for all tastes, the club has quite rightly taken a firm hold of Bristol’s Gay scene and tonight was proof of that.
Whilst many were there to join in with the birthday fun, it was a 2-4-1 clubbing experience tonight with PUSH in Arena 2. The last time we sampled PUSH was back in the summer for Pride so we were even more excited to see just why the night has taken prime polysexual place in the monthly clubbing calendar.
Grown it has... enough to tempt the mighty DJ Seamus Haji onto the decks. Remembering him from our Wild Fruit days, he once again delivered and set the place alive; taking the crowd to a place where it seemed almost de rigueur to have a leopard clad lovely swinging gracefully above our heads as we danced, danced and danced some more. This night rocks. We’ll be back.
