Mr Gay UK 2008: Bristol heat...
review
So after the debut of the girls last week it was time for the boys to strut their stuff in the Bristol heat of Mr Gay UK.
This year saw the boys in their pants from the very beginning... a change welcomed by many I’m sure! Seven brave participants took to the stage and were greeted by an expectant crowd who were more vocal than ever.
After a brief trip upstairs to calm the nerves with some backstage papping, it was time for the results.
The very well supported (in the vocal sense) Sean Green took third place with the Queenshilling’s own buff barman Henry Mole taking second. But narrowly beating the beauties and being dutifully crowned ‘Mr Bristol’ was a new Bristol resident, Terry Clark. Terry will be representing Bristol in the grand final at Manchester Pride in August. Good luck Terry and a big well done to all who entered!

about Queenshilling
|
The Queenshilling, or ‘Q/S’ as it’s affectionally known in these parts, has been an integral part of Bristol’s Gay scene for many years. Having recently benefited from a swanky refurbishment, the colour and style of the bustling bar area very much reflects the reputation the club upholds as the place to be out and be seen on the Bristol Gay scene.
