review

So, it’s been just over a month since the queens first fell and we last checked out Treason on its launch night. Instead of finding various queenly bodies strewn across the dancefloor, we found a crowd packed with regular followers of this night, emerging into one of the best for the alternative gay scene.

Graciously growing in confidence and all things DJ-like, Darcy Steele exuded cool as he selected track after track to the constant proclamations of “ooh I love this one!” Tonight felt like one big party, and that it certainly was with a VIP birthday in the house and numerous students celebrating post-exam relief.

With £3 cocktails slipping down a little too easily, it was certainly drunken and most definitely fun!

about Queenshilling

The Queenshilling, or ‘Q/S’ as it’s affectionally known in these parts, has been an integral part of Bristol’s Gay scene for many years. Having recently benefited from a swanky refurbishment, the colour and style of the bustling bar area very much reflects the reputation the club upholds as the place to be out and be seen on the Bristol Gay scene.
