Shameful as it is to admit - we’d never before taken to the Bristol waters so we were especially excited about this boat trip. Laid on as a precursor for Prominence's second birthday later on at Warehouse it certainly started off the celebrations in FUNK ship shape style.

Praying the weather would hold out for our jaunt as jolly sailors, we set sail from the waterfront having first found our sea legs with a cold beer or two. As we headed out of port the volume was turned up by a few nautical notches and it was time to start the party, celebrating yet three more birthdays on board. Dancing on the deck continued as the sun went down and we got lost in the imagination that we were actually sailing slightly further a field than half way to Bath! Having said that, it definitely showed off some of Bristol's loveliest vistas and one of the best ways to see it.

Feeling like we hadn't had long enough playing pirates we headed back under darkening skies for part two of the night, Prominence at Warehouse. It's a hard life at sea.
