Playa PUSH 1st Birthday...
review
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since this night started to PUSH the boundaries of polysexual clubbing and offer a much needed special something to the Bristol scene.
And what a year it has been. Month after month of mayhem and musical mastery from the likes of legendary DJ Seamus Haji to Stonebridge and The Freemasons. It’s been a pleasure to watch the night evolve; see the club kids and the big names emerge, altogether creating an atmosphere which makes it one of the nights on the clubbing calendar.
Tonight the birthday celebrations took us to the dancing destination of Playa Push. With palm trees and beach balls a plenty, there was even a sweltering heat to complete the transformation and make us glad of the brave bikini choice. And as if that wasn’t enough, we were served a perfectly shaken cocktail of aural pleasure in the form of 1 Part Nathan Thompson, 1 Part Lukas Hopwood mixed with a large measure of Anthony M (Dusted/Cuthouse Records). It’s been a while since we’ve witnessed such enthusiasm and energy behind the decks and we really do hope this tenacious talent will be back for more.
Happy first birthday PUSH... here’s to many more!
