Finally, finally we make it to buRn..and what a night to pick! Having heard only but good things about the night and it always seeming to clash with our very full diaries, it seemed fitting to pop by on a night which was rightly billed as the ‘buRn of returns’.

Tonight was one big party it seems... friends from far away shores were reunited on the dance floor to the mesmerising music of the lovely and energetic Lukas Hopwood alongside Bristol favourite, Dan Pearce. It’s a rare occurrence that the ‘look’ of a night can be as impressive as the music, yet buRn certainly achieved that. Lines and lines of disco balls, sculptured torsos bearing down from above with religious effigies shining bright in neon lights; creating an atmosphere heightened by that feint whiff of incense, permeating throughout and perfectly combining to compliment the dark and dirty soundtrack and producing a night like no other.
