Pride Carnival...
review
The Popstarz crew pulled out all the stops for Pride in converting that creepy old seaside fun-house that is Concorde 2 into a carnival of all things indie and alternative - and all with a little help from their friends. Wig Out, The Cock and FTPA all held hands to create a very special post-pride party.
With free sideshows and all the freaks you could wave a hook-the-duck fishing rod at, it was one big ol' seaside night to remember. We got a bit lost finding the tunnel of love and gave the mis-fortune-teller a miss (got a feeling I already know), but there were plenty of takers. Special live PA for the evening were the gorgeous Brighton trio, The Pipettes - we like!

Okay, so you may have to walk a bit to reach it... but that just makes it that little bit more exclusive doesn't it! Located along Madeira Drive, the Concorde 2 is a sizeable venue with a huge variety of clubnights and bands on each month. Some top names, some great festivals, World Music... you name it.
